I don't want to sound cheap but lol

My husband birthday is coming up. His the one that provides for us and everything. My baby & i. So as a wife you want to make him feel special on his bday. He has alot of sibilings we always get together when its somebody's birthday. So instead of looking for cakes at stores theyre about $30. I found someone who makes cakes at home very pretty cakes and different flavors. She charges me around $50. Is this a good price? The reason why I'm saying if I'm being cheap or not is cause he is the one who provides for us and i always try to save money. But idk should i get it for him?
