Cervical Cerclage Taken Out today

The entire procedure was done in my doctors office, no pain meds. The speculum hurt the most. The doctor couldn't see the stitch with the small, plastic speculum. She said I was tightening up to much and too tense (probably from being on pelvic rest for 3 month). So she had to use the larger metal speculum. This is after poking around for 15 minutes, me breaking out in a sweat from the discomfort and her having to call the medical assistant for help. Although the metal speculum was uncomfortable, once she inserted it she was able to see the stitch right away and pulled in out in less than a minute. I've been having slight cramping since the procedure, similar to when I had the stitch placed.
