first pregnancy resulted in first miscarriage :(

Went in for our first Dr. appt. She did a pelvic exam and Pap smear and sent me on my way to have my ultrasound the next day. We were soooo excited, I couldn't even sleep the night before. I had a little bit of spotting after the Pap smear but she told me that was normal so I wasn't worried about it at all. I felt great and honestly didn't even feel pregnant (which I now know why.) at our ultrasound she did a regular abdominal ultrasound and found an empty sac and no baby and she was SO rude about it which made everything ten times worse. I asked to see once and she kept telling me "no I need to do my job". That's fine, but I can do without the attitude. Especially at a time like this. So from there we did a transvaginal US and it too showed nothing. I was completely shattered. I was suppose to be 8weeks 2 days along and my sac only measured 5 weeks 5 days. How did this happen? I did everything right. From there we went to get blood work done and my HCG level came back 12000 which was normal for about 6 weeks so I praying for a miracle. Well that night I started to experience the worst and I mean WORST cramps I have ever had in my life. I was doubled over in pain and nothing I did eased the pain. I ended up passing huge amounts of blood and clots and my bathroom looked like a murder scene. My precious hubby sat near by just trying to comfort me. The next day I got more blood work done and it confirmed my misscariage. My levels had dropped significantly. We are so heart broken and I feel so empty. But I am taking time off work to heal my heart and mind. Anyone else feel like their stress related to their job may have contributed to their MC? I'm started to suspect it. Anyway, we will try again once everything is strong and healthy again. I'm so sorry for anyone who has to post to this group. It is literally the worst pain in the world. I wish the best to all of you and pray you never have to experience this ever again.
