Working night shift

FTM. I work 12 hour night shifts as a nurse. I go back to work in about 2 weeks. I'm doing a trial run to have my husband feed her and put her down, which he's never done before. Right now I'm in the other room hearing her scream non stop for the past hour. It's so painful to hear her cry. Does it get better? Any advice? She's barely taking a bottle as it is. She loves nursing.
