HCG & Progesterone testing - worth it?

OB won't see me until 8-9weeks. Did anyone make a separate appt w/ general doctor to test HCG/Progesterone for peace of mind? Did you feel like it was worth it? Or unnecessary?

I've had three abnormal blood test results all related to ovulation.  Got doctors again next week feel like I'm living in the place at mo. Next step scan to find out what's going on In there x

Im in the same boat.  Haven't had a period since 2/2. Obgyn said come back in May.
