Seeing floaters!

I'm 14 weeks and I have started seeing floaters. This is my 5th pregnancy. Haven't had this problem since my 1st pregnancy which I ended up having pre-eclampsia. Wondering since the father to this baby is different than my other 3 (4th ended in miscarriage) could I develop it again. I go to the doctors next week, but wondering if I shouldn't wait til then to tell them what's going on. I've also had higher blood pressure this entire pregnancy so far.
