Teens TTC?

I decided to create this poll because i'm 17 years old and had a baby in february which was unplanned (i was on birth control). I love my baby, but i am against teenagers TTC. After going through becoming a mother, don't get me wrong i love it, but it is SOOOOO hard. With high school, finances, daycare,no sleep, no free time, doctor bills, insurance, I can't imagine why a teenager would try and have a baby on purpose, it blows my mind! If you are a teenager who is trying conceive, do you really think you can handle everything ON YOUR OWN at this age? i know it's easy to want a baby, but wanting a baby and having a baby are two completely different things. And the questsion of the poll is, do you think teens should TTC if they want to?

I don't think it's a smart move at all. 
There's this 16 yr old friend of the family who was sure she wanted a baby asap. I hired her to nanny my baby 3 nights a week and this is her third week, she has now seen how hard caring for a baby is and she's changed her mind and wants to wait. Teenagers shouldn't be ttcing.

I'm against anyone in high school or still in school ttc. Not just teenagers alone. 
I'm 18 and pregnant, he was planned. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I say if you can handle it and afford it ON YOUR OWN, go for it. It's no one else's business.

Thanks for your input as a teen mom... I was a teen mom I was 16, and it was harder for me to even get a job to work enough hours to provide for my daughter and childcare I was blessed to have my mom help to watch her once she seen that I wasn't going to expect her to do everything. My dad helped out also but that was after the first 3 months they made me do everything for my daughter they had only bought diapers formula and a stroller... everything was my responsibility... I'm glad I had good friends to help me also they would help watch my daughter during the week after school until my mom got home from work because I would have to go straight to work after school, but by summer the help from them stopped... for 2 yrs I was struggling until the day I turned 18 and was able to get 40 hours a week and able to work the overnight shift (which paid more)

I'm 17 and pregnant with my unplanned baby and feel the same way - even though my baby's not here yet. I personally think girls should wait until at least 18 and out of school.

I personally don't agree with the reasoning most teens give for ttc. It is not my circus and not my monkeys 🐒 just like women who are older and give the same reasons.

I don't think people in high school should be TTC. I'm 19 and in May I will try for my second. I own a home and can well afford to take care of and stay home with my children while my boyfriend attends college. I'm in college too but I don't take it as seriously tbh. I feel like if they can afford it and handle it mentally, then cool. Same thing with adults.

I don't agree with babies having babies but there's nothing I can do about it. The world is totally different now days. I can't tell you how many 15-17 yr olds I see up & down my social media feeds sporting their baby-bumps proudly like it's an accessory. But I can't judge they aren't my kids An might not have been taught the same thing cause I sure as hell wasnt thinking about sex back then 😂🤷🏾‍♀️ 
All in all when I see posts about young kids seeking ttc advice or entertaining the thought I just ignore it😌it's not my place to say anything.
