Mutual weirdness = love

I'm a divorced single mom. I'm in my first relationship since getting divorced over 3 years ago. It's seriously been close to 8 years since I dated. I've been seeing this guy about 4 months. He's seriously amazing. He's funny, and cute and indulges in all of my old soul habits and enjoys it. Best of all my daughter adores him. I've known I was in love with him for a while, but can't tell him because I'm chicken. But the other day I shared a post about Dr Suess quotes and said that the one was my favorite. It's about how everyone is weird and we just have to find somebody whose weirdness is compatible with ours, and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love. The next day I jokingly told him that I didn't know why he hung out with me, his response was something along the lines of being "mutually weird". This isn't a coincident right? A few days later he invites me to spend a weekend with him and his friends. What do you guys think? Was he trying to tell me he's falling in love with me too?
