Working Out at 22 weeks
I started prenatal yoga last Tuesday as a way to get more active and in better shape. I've never done yoga before but this class is very low intensity & more about stretching & relaxing, which is great, but not really going to do much toning for me. It's also only once a week. So last couple days I've gotten up early and I'm doing jump rope, resistance bands, and squats for 15 minutes. Man am I out of shape lol. But this momma refuses to get any more chunky.....growing belly excluded of course. If I'm going to be preggers in the summer wearing tank tops & dresses, I have got to tone my arms. Anyone else just now starting a workout routine? I am not worried about it being bad for baby at all, I'll stop when my body tells me to stop. Just wish I'd gotten off my ass sooner specially since I've had a really great pregnancy- no sickness or nausea.
