Looking for my dad...I messaged his wife
So I never met my dad, and my mom never really wanted me to know anything about him. He left her before she even got to tell him she was pregnant, then she told his cousin to tell him..but I'm sure the cousin never did. When I was in my early-mid teens I began to ask a lot about him. All I could get out of her was his name.. I got a bit depressed when I was around 16-17 because I felt that as I was growing up I needed to know about him and where he's from etc. I convinced her to help me look for him on Facebook, we apparently found him. I also found out he's married, had 2 girls(one of the girls looks a lot when I was a kid) and one adopted son. So I decided to send him a lot of messages, one of them I think he read which was one of the first ones. I was heartbroken because he never replied, I was furious as well. So I decided to message the wife. I sent her about 3 messages hoping she would read them so she could confront her husband about it and maybe he would finally answer me. I don't think she read any of the messages, however I'm not too sure. I'm wondering if she did, I probably ruined that family. I feel bad for their children since they don't deserve that, but I don't deserve it either. Do you think I had the right to message the wife?
There are days where I get sad and just wish I had him infront of me. I was trying to find out where he works and I found out... I just wish I could show up. 😔😔 it isn't as easy since he lives in the US and I'm in Canada. I wish it didn't affect me so much.
