Is this animal abuse?

Is it animal abuse to leave my Great Dane in her dog run while I am at work? She is usually only in there from about 8:20 A.M to 4:00-4:30 P.M when my husband gets home from work. Or if I get off early she will come in at 2:00-2:30. She has lots of water. She had shade and a dog house, but destroyed them along with all if her toys. I am working on getting new ones that hopefully she can't destroy. She has shade since she is next to our shed and it casts a shadow and also can cover her from the rain. She does dig. She does have plenty of room to play. I can't leave her inside because she eats and destroys everything and doesn't know how to be soft with my cats yet. I can't let her roam the yard because she bully's my old dog and really hurts him. I bring her a new toy home all the time. She is healthy as a horse and gets exercise when I get home. If you do see this as animal abuse, please don't be mean, instead please give me tips on how to make it better. I also don't want to kennel her, I think that's unfair.
