tips for reflux?

I suspect my daughter has reflux. Everytime she lays down flat you can hear it in her throat, she makes a face - it keeps her awake. We've tried a rock n play - she hates it. I suspect because her legs are long and she doesn't have room to stretch them. She's 6 weeks old. I'm calling her pedi on Monday.

We have our daughter at an incline in her bassinet. Also, keep baby upright after meals 15-20 minutes.

I put a folded receiving blanket under one side of my babies mattress to have a slight incline and that seemed to help! Also, my dr told me to put a little rice in her formula to help with her reflux too. Eventually it got to the point where she got on medication and now she is fine but while she was little like your baby those 2 things helped her a lot.

I have a wedge in my crib under the sheets for my son he's 3 months in a week he either spits up or vomits after almost every meal we see a osteopathic family doctor we put him on nucvomica to help with the reflux and flush out the other remedies I tried and it seemed to help a little I was advised by my doctor to take him off after 2 weeks about a month ago so I did the wedge really helps at night he doesn't spit up in his sleep with it like he used to without it. He is slowly getting better with the reflux I suspect it's because he's getting older, I heard it gets better with age but some mothers say their baby has it even until they are 1. Either way you get used to it and for the most part it's nothing to really worry about unless it's a special situation. Just gotta worry about doinrg laundry more frequently lol
