Nicu visitors?

I have preeclampsia.  We are hoping to get to 34 weeks but really I could be admit
To have her any day now.  They already warned me she will probably be in nicu for about 3 weeks.  Who should I allow to visit her in nicu?  A parent always needs to be present with visitors. I was thinking only immediate family.  I just was curious to hear other people's thoughts.

It's up to you guys but to prevent the spread of germs and to allow bonding time for you guys, I would limit visitors.

If it were me I would limit visitors just because or germs. I would probably allow the grandparents to visit but that's about it

Thank you ladies for your responses.  I'm thinking just immediate family grandparents & our siblings, no one else.  I just wanted reassurance that I wasn't being selfish or rude or whatever because I already know one of my best friends (who ah whole drama bs going on right now) is going to have a hissy fit when she can see our newborn.  This whole pregnancy I've told her not to rub my belly and she proceeds to think that doesn't apply to her, when it upsets me because it makes me self conscious.  She's been too wrapped up in her own minor crap to be concerned about what's going on with anyone else.  Sorry rant about her over.

My son spent 7 weeks in the NICU. My parents including my stepmom had a band so that they could visit without us. It was great because if I needed sleep one of them was usually there.
As far as accompanied visitors, my 3 bffs came a few times, my sister, and my SO's dad came when my son was there for a few weeks.
But, it was mainly my parents that came every day or so. My son loooooves them so much too. I was happy to share that bonding time with them. ALSO, they got their vaccinations.

I had my son at 34 weeks. I only had close family come see him. And the dad and I took turns taking them to see the baby

If you expect a nicu stay i would personally only allow very close family...

I am a werido and wabteddjme just my husband and me with he baby. So we limited visitors. We let visitors come a few hours after birth and they all showed up at once I limited an hour all together they all let and then we had no other visitors until we were settled at home.
