Rant. I'm annoyed that I don't know the gender of my baby.

Ok hear me out because I know it's early. I'm 12 weeks 3 days. I know A LOT of people who are pregnant right now and ALL of them have found out the gender of their baby and are doing gender revel parties. They all found out by ultrasound not any special test. The problem I'm having is they are 11-14 weeks! I just had an ultrasound done and my doctor didn't even try to see the gender and I didn't get any pictures 😡😡. Plus I won't have another ultrasound until I'm 16 weeks! I'm very impatient about this because I want to start buying baby clothes and other baby things but I need to know the gender first. I don't like gender neutral things.. they bore me. I'm also upset that I didn't get a picture because my SO wasn't able to make it to my appointment and he hasn't seen the baby yet. I just needed to rant. If anyone has any advice or feels the same way please comment.
