I'm 16 and my boyfriend and I are ready to have intercourse. Problem is, my dad is so against it it's insane. I don't want to go against him but I also want this to happen. Thoughts?

Honestly, I didn't tell my parents when I became sexually active. So I'm not going to be a hypocrite and tell you that you have to tell him.

However, keep in mind that if worse comes to worst (you get pregnant, or contract an STD, etc) that you'll most likely have to tell him.

Honestly you're still young. Your father know what's best for his daughter, he cares and loves you. You shouldn't ignore him!
