Can you be pro bodily autonomy but also anti non-vaxxners?

• I peeped A LOT of people saying non-vaxxners should be quarantined, their child should be taken, etc which if that's how you feel that's how you feel, BUT can you consider yourself pro bodily autonomy if you feel like people should be punished for not doing what you think is best for their body?
• thoughts?

If it's ONLY your body being affected, then it's your body, your choice. 
Not vaccinating affects more than just you. It's a public health risk. It affects me, my child, and everyone else that comes in contact with that nonvaccinated child. it's NOT your body, your choice.

Not vaccinating is dangerous for whole communities. I will always be pro-bodily autonomy until it comes to vaccines and things that can harm multiple people.

Their choices effect others. So I definitely think yes, you can be. 
If whatever reason my son cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons, I will not allow him to be around those who are not vaccinated. Sorry not sorry. 
Your dumb decision is not worth someone getting severely ill and possibly dying. I think bot vaccinating is incredibly selfish.

Not sure, I am pro body anonymity. I don't think it's my place to tell other people what to do with their children, but I don't agree with the anti-vax people. At the same time, it is each parents individual choice for their child and I will try to stay out of other parents choices. 
That being said, I see my sister as a possible anti-vax person. Not sure for a fact, but if she has a child who is not vaccinated they will not be near my child until mine is fully vaccinated. Her choice and my choice. I don't feel this violates the concept of body anonymity.

Yes. I am pro bodily autonomy, and because of that I am not okay with forcing vaccinations, as that violates it, but I am okay with exclusionary safety laws and bans to prevent those who want to stay unvaccinated (not those who simply can't because of health conditions) from gaining access to public places. As not vaccinating kills other people and your people. This incredibly stupid "movement" has lead to an increase in preventable illnesses thanks to gullible victims and a fraudulent doctor who was later stripped of his career and title.

I'm against forcing the family trying to get their kid into elementary school to vax because they think it'll make him autistic, but I am not against making schools say "we will not accept you unless legitimate reason is given to justify this decision to not vax (for example an immune compromised individual)".

So to end off I am pro bodily autonomy and anti vax.

I feel very strongly about bodily autonomy and I'm also in favour of vaccinations.  I don't think anyone should be forced to vaccinate, but I do think it's reasonable to deny access to some services etc to those who aren't vaccinated by choice in order to protect people who have compromised immune systems etc. I also think antivaxers are generally conspiracy theory crackpots, intellectually challenged individuals who are too quick to believe crap they read on the internet, and/or selfish.

It's not about being against nonvaxxers it's about not wanting myself and my family to not be around people who can spread curable disease. Vaccines aren't perfect. They cause negative effects in about less than 1% of people, and they also wear off or sometimes don't even take. Which is why herd immunity is important. So yea I'm not going to let my kids play with some kid who isn't vaccinated for Chicken Pox because while it's a harmless disease for that brat if I get it my kids could lose their mom. (Yes Chicken Pox is lethal to adults it gets worse with age). So that's not a chance I'm willing to take. But whatever do whatever you want with your kid just keep it away from me and mine.

No. You cannot be pro-bodily autonomy and not be vaccinated or vaccinate your kids, because you put yourself, your kids, and others in danger. I believe there is or was an outbreak of the measles in Minnesota of Somalian refugees, because they did not understand and they also feared that vaccines would cause autism in their children.

We are all walking, talking, and sitting Petri dishes. If you are for pro-bodily autonomy then do the right thing for yourself, your kids, and others. Get vaccinated.
