Has anyone ever had to be induced with a balloon? If so how did it work out?

Induced twice no balloons :) only pitocin and dr came and broke my waters both times

It's called a fully bulb and it hurts like hell! I had one back in January to help me dilate as I was induced. They put it in and leave it for up to 12 hours unless you dilate enough to where it falls out. Once it's in, it hurts for a few minutes like period cramps but then it's fine. But once it comes out it hurts 😵

My sister had one and it did exactly what it was supposed to!! She dilated in a timely fashion and didn't complain about it causing her more pain during or after it. It's a good alternative to medicine if you are given the option
