Weird period after d&c

I had my D&C April 13th. My obgyn said to count that as cd 1. Cd 15 I got a positive ovulation test. We were ttc. But cd28 my period came. It was only 3 days and not to heavy or painful but def not my normal. 3 days later I started to spot (brown/brick red color) and im now day 3 of this...is this "normal" after a d&c? Ive never had anything like this where my period ends then days later I start spotting for 3 days.
