Metformin ???

Question

Any one else is taking Metformin 1500 a day and trying to conceive?? I've been on it for 3 months and still no period. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 yrs ago I'm 29 now and I haven't gotten a period on my own since 2 years ago

Ive been on meteformin for two weeks now I started my period 16 days later. We have been trying to have a baby the last three months my periods were very irregular for the past 4 yrs. i went to the doctor may 26 and had multiple blood test ran. Everything came back normal but my DHS LEVELS which were 630.5 the doctor stated I had small folliculas on my overies However the meteformin should get rid of them. Tomorrow I up my dosage to two 500 mg. In the morning and two 500mg. At night everything has worked out so far. Keeping my figures crossed for a  positive test soon. 
Ps the meteformin made me sick for at lest 3 days once it was in my system I was good to go. 
I also lost 5lbs in a week 😃

I have been on metformin myself. I'm supposed to take 1500 at meal time. I can't though because it makes me absolutely sick. I keep forgetting to take mine for the fear that I have to run to the bathroom every five minutes while at work and I work in an office..

I've been on metformin for yearsssss. It has never given me a period. They have switched my mg all over the place too. However it does work for some people! Good luck 💚

I was diagnosed with PCOS in April of this year 
I do get my period every month but it is irregular and long at times. I have been on Metformin since last Tuesday 500mg a day and took a test this morning and got a positive 
Took two more throughout the day and two more positives. I hear some people don't get the benefits of Metformin until they are at the max dose of 2500 mg a day

I was prescribed 1700 a day for about a year with no luck. I'm taking a bit of a break for now though because we've been TTC for over 3 years and I needed to just stop the Dr for a while. Hopefully you find some luck with it though! :)

Been on metformin since Thanksgiving, also dexamethasone. It has not caused me to have a period yet but I just had a hystersonogram and polypectomy today so that might help me out a bit. For the last 8 or 9 years i could count the amounts of periods I've had on my fingers. RE is going to start me on Femara after I've healed up. Good luck to you! Have you been checked for any blockages?

I started Metformin 500mg up to 1700mg a day now. I went from a 100 day cycle to an average of 32-33 days for last 3 months. This month I got a positive surge on an opk on CD24 (started testing CD18 every day)..super late but my first positive surge ever! Now I'm on CD36 so tomorrow is 12 DPO. I'm hopeful. I don't have any usual PMS symptoms, just tiredness and lack of appetite.

After not having a period since October of 2016 my Dr started me on 500mg metformin (to slowly increase until I could handle 1500mg a day). Within like 4-5 days of starting I started spotting and before finishing the first bottle I got my period! That was last month. My period has not come this month yet and am now on cd43.... either my body did not regulate or I am pregnant. Waiting to test until July.
