How do you brush your baby's teeth?

My 9 month old has his 2 bottom teeth finally coming in. I've just been using water and a finger brush. Should I use toothpaste ?

This is what we use. I put a little of the toothpaste on the toothbrush and hand it to my 9 and half month old and he chews on it for a little while in the bath. My son likes it so much thatbhe throws a fit when I have take it away.

You can just use a wet washcloth 2x a day, according to our pediatrician.

We have the Tom's for infants we've been using since her bottoms came through. There's no fluoride. We also use a finger brush still. She has 6 teeth now and is 9 months as well.

I use a soft baby brush and baby toothpaste. It says to use a rice grain sized amount but I use less since he only has 2 teeth haha. I do the brushing so I can be sure to get the fronts and backs and try to make it fun so he will let me keep going as he gets older

I read to use just water unless the dentist says otherwise. There's no way for them not to swallow and just be it says safe to swallow isn't always true
