guy trouble

So I really like this guy, he's super sweet, smart, and cute and we have similar interests. Only problem is I only have 3 1/2 days left of school, we only talk a little bit in school, and when I asked for his Snapchat, he said "I have one but I don't know what it is." I had a friend ask him about it and he said he was really confused and didn't know why I asked. What do I do? Do I give up?
