When did you stop swaddling?

My girl had her 2 month visit Friday and her pediatrician said we needed to stop swaddling her. She slept just fine last night but today during naps, her crazy arms keep waking her up. I'm thinking she might need a few more weeks. When did y'all stop swaddling?

We stopped at 1 month because my lo would sweat no matter what he wore underneath.   How come her doctor told you to stop?

Whenever your baby starts showing signs that they are about to start rolling over stop swaddling. My daughter started showing signs and the day that I decided we were going to start weaning from the swaddling because she loved it so much she rolled over that night and it so we had to cut it cold turkey which made for a couple miserable nights

We stopped swaddling when he started ruling over well. First with naps arms out turn night time. Process took about a week

We stopped fully swaddling once she rolled over. It was around 4 months. From there, we swaddled her body but left her arms out. Did that for about two weeks and then did naps unswaddled and worked our way to fully unswaddled. It took a little time because she would only sleep swaddled up but she got there! Now she's a wild sleeper!

We use this Anna and Even swaddle strap! My baby's 4 months, so it won't be much longer, but she has startle reflex pretty bad still and this is the only way she'll sleep! Blankets and halo swaddles and stuff make her too hot. This is nice for a lot of reasons but especially because it has padding under her armpits so it doesn't slide over her mouth/face like a blanket or halo does! 😍

My son is 2 months I try to swaddle him but he always breaks out!! Then his arms go crazy and he can't sleep! I need something to keep his arms down lol

We stopped using a swaddle and switched to the Merlin magic sleep suit. Maybe at 3 months? 
Just because it's not necessary, doesn't mean your little doesn't prefer it. Some babies just like the security

It depended on the baby, but by 4 months. Our daughter loves having her legs covered, but kicks her blankets off, so we use sleep sacks (which you can buy with arm swaddlers). They allow her to kick without losing her blanket because the sack keeps her warm. She loves sleeping in a victory pose (both arms "pumped" next to her head), so we no longer swaddle her arms.

My son will be 3 months old soon and I still swaddle. He always wakes himself up. I asked my pediatrician about it and he said I can as long as he can't roll over with it.
