Getting rid of a cold

I've only had my cold since Friday (26th May) just a slightly sore throat, a cough, sneezing and a blocked nose.

But starting today my cough is worse, whenever I cough it takes my breath away and my chest feels heavy, plus a funny sensation in my throat when I cough.

I just want it to go away :(

I keep blowing my nose but it doesn't clear up, I'm drinking fluids too, I've had vic but I can't smell it at all.
