Do you ever wish that we lived back in the "olden days" where the husband works outside the home and the wife stays home with the kids?

I'm old fashioned, I know, but I can't be the only one! I watch shows like "Leave it to Beaver" and "I Love Lucy" and I get jealous! Lol I want to stay at home with my baby!!!

Sometimes for sure. Ideally I'd love a job that I can work from time to time and stay at home with my children most of the time bc as much as I love to be home I get a little anxious at times because I feel like I'm not helping bring in money.. it's a weird guilt feeling which idk why I have bc I do house things and take care of the kids but still! I wish I could have the best of both worlds.. right now I am a SAHM and happy

I'm making my life fit that dream along with having a mini farm to homestead it is possible but we don't have fancy cars or cable or high-speed Internet we don't go on fancy dates or anywhere really except to the park or somewhere camping fishing visit family we live simply and it's comfortable for me :)

I wish I could stay home with baby atleast until she goes to school and then go back to work... I'd love to be that baking/crafting mom having lots of baby's running around. I f my partner had my salary it would be doable but we just can't live on his income :(
