Should a woman with a poor prognosis of cancer purposely have a child?

Let's say a woman gets diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that cannot be treated. If she wants to experience motherhood and pregnancy, and her body can handle carrying the child for 9 months, should she try to conceive?

Guess so, if she wants to. My dad had cancer when I was born and most of my life, but I'd still rather be born and be his daughter than never alive.

I just feel like if you were diagnoses with a very aggressive cancer, you just wouldn't be able to sustain a pregnancy for that long. Is this purely hypothetical? If so, it's a tough decision I guess. You can't predict the future and that's something she'd have to take into account. It's not my decision whether she gets pregnant or not. Her body, her eggs, her decision. I just think with wanting to experience those things, you do have to take into consideration how the child will be even after you are gone. It's cool she can experience pregnancy and be a mother, but don't forget that there is an actual life involved. But I think it's far better for a child to be born into a family with the mother loving them and passing potentially soon after birth, than a child being born into a family where the mother doesn't give two shits about the child but lives forever.

I said "no", not because it is my opinion but because anticancer drugs are by essence incompatible with pregnancy. 
So if the patient really want to die and avoid taking drugs, it is her move but a selfish one for the child. 
But under treatment, it is far too denagerous for the featus development.

I said no, but that's because I am answering for myself and not what I think someone else should do.

Though I wouldn't choose to do it, and don't think it would be fair to the child, I can't tell someone else with that grim of a diagnoses that they can't have a child.

On one hand I would hate to bring a child into this world and then soon leave it motherless. 
On the other hand my biological grandmother gave my own mother up for adoption because she was dying of cancer. And it was a huge blessing to my grandparents.

There are other ways to find happiness. If someone is that sick they shouldn't be trying to carry a baby anyway, plus they would possibly pass the illness on genetically for the child to deal with years later.
