Baby has teeth and it hurts breastfeeding, help?

Ci

Any breastfeeding moms out there? I'm still breastfeeding my daughter and she is 8 months old. Only 2 weeks ago she had one of her teeth through and it hurts feeding her. She refuse latching on correctly on my left breast but fine with the other. I think its because they're too big for her and she doesn't like opening her mouth haha. It wasn't so much of an issue before and she feeds well and puts on a lot of weight. It's becoming a problem now on both sides as I can feel her teeth whilst feeding and she has bitten me a few times (I think she's getting the hint that she can't be on the boob if she bites as I take her off). She has also come back to bed with us, as she keeps waking up a lot during the night, it's just easier for me this way at this time.

Anyway, I'm coming to the point that I'm looking to give her the bottle and formula (sad really 😔) because it's painful. So looking for support on how to deal with it if I continue bf or how to move her to formula.

Also when should I put her back in her own room to sleep? I was sleep training her which was going well, and then she started teething 🙂
