Nudes. What's your opinion on them???

I've sent nudes before to this one guy that I got really close with but non of my friends have ever sent them before. When I first told them I'd sent them they said they were okay with it but we have had previous conversation where they have said that you should never send them and that they are quite disgusting. I just don't know how to feel about sending them, and I know I can't take them back but i just wanted to know what other people's opinions were 😬
