didn't try this month because we found a kitten

I actually found out in my fertile window that since I'm having surgery for my wisdom teeth that I needed to skip ttc this month. I thought I'd be anxious as it would be month 6, but last week while driving we found a poor baby kitty laying in the road on a 93 degree day. She had eye infections, a goopy nose, wheezing, dehydrated, and one eye seems to have been scratched and scared over. Poor girl is around a month old. But she is the biggest love bug! Omg cuddles all day. She's no longer dehydrated, the vet gave her some medicine and some eye cream, and she had tons of playful energy now! Sadly it's not likely her eye will ever heal and she will be blind in that eye her whole life. But she chases a laser with her good eye just fine! I'm hoping hubby agrees we can keep her even once she's healthy to go to the shelter. All shelters around here are very full of kitties and being a half blind kitty now many people will overlook her. I'm ready to be her forever mommy and I keep catching my hubby cuddling with her when I'm out of the room. I barely even thought about the fact that we had to skip this month. I'm just ready to get these damn teeth out of my head! Btw we do have a pupper, she's 2 and they will be introduced when kitty is strong enough. Lola is a pittie mix and though a petite one, she's solid and doesn't know her strength. But I feel they will be best friends!
