When did you start allowing your baby to sleep in a separate room?

The risk of SIDS drastically reduces at six months. Based on this, we decided on a few guidelines for when our LO would sleep in his own room. We wanted him to be at least six months old, easily rolls back to front and front to back, and sleeps through the night.

Day 3 and he has slept amazingly since then.

We moved from bassinet to her crib at 7 weeks

I co sleep with my baby but we started putting her in the crib around a month and a half two months. She got to long for the bassinet and wasn't sleeping well!

I cosleep and room share in the beginning 9-12 weeks I would let baby start the night in his own room. I have 3 boys so when depended on baby. The first stretch of sleep baby would do alone. When baby woke to nurse, then to bed with me and cosleep and nurse. As baby weans off night nursing, then baby spends more time in bed until 9-12 months old when baby is naturally totally and completely independent. Works for me. I love cosleeping and nursing my babies, but I need space too.

We started around 4 months, maybe 5. We did naps in the nursery starting at 3 months.
