Early scans internal or external?

Question

Any of you ladies had your early scans yet? I'm allowed a 6w + 5 scan tomorrow due to a miscarriage in March. Has anyone else had a scan this early and was it internal or external? I've had both before with my miscarriage but I like to know what my chance are of having to have the internal as well?

Thanks for your messages, they managed to do the scan externally and everything is ok. Baby measuring at 7 weeks rather then 6+5. Hoping for a sticky baby and this will be my rainbow 🌈

I had a scan yesterday but she found it hard as the baby's so small, so had to do an internal!! - I'm 7 weeks tomorrow. xx

Had one last week at 6w5d because of bleeding. They did both, external and internal.
