First year of marriage

My husband and I have been married only 8 months. we've been off and on for 9 years. Had a daughter when we was young. We had so much in our past, that sometimes it what starts our fights. what can we do to fix our problems and stay happily married. I love my Johnny more than anything in this world. He was my first everything and I love everything about him. he is the most imperfect perfect man ever! I just need advice from woman who has been married awhile
