Ivf or iui male infertility

So a few months I had a stillbirth unexplained but it was suspected to be a clotting disorder that I have that caused it.. so now we have a plan for a future pregnancy the problem is my fiancé has male infertility .. suspected retrograde ejaculation when sperm goes to the bladder instead of out.. So frustrating!!! Anyway iui is covered by insurance so we're going to try that route first but our specialist has suggest ivf which is not covered at all.. Anyone have ivf in Ny?? Are there payment plans or loans..? If nothing else works we are going to consider this option but don't know a whole lot about it. Of course I will go over this at the specialist but I wanna compare with others experiences .. Thanks ❤️
