Age and experience difference, help!!

Okay so I'm a fourteen year old girl and I really like this person (male sixteen) and I'm quite positive he likes me as well, I'm interested in starting something new with him and I'm ready to take new steps in my life and I'm kinda hoping he'll be there when I do take those steps. But! Although I have experience with some sexual things, I'd say he's quite a bit more experienced, I have yet to lose my virginity, which is something him and I have kind of brought up (not our virginity's, but virginity in general) I want to take a step with him but I don't know what I'd do if in a few months from now, he's ready to take a step that I feel I have no experience for. Please give me advice on what I should do!!
