I'm just curious if you ladies felt like breastfeeding helped with losing the baby weight and a few more lbs's. Going off of what my friends and family have told me it's been an overwhelming YES.

Don't be upset if you don't. It's actually more common for women not to lose weight while breastfeeding.

Not me. I actually gained! Just posted about this in the group 'Breastfeeding'. Some women tend to STORE fat while nursing.

At first my dd had so many sensitivities that I was eating a really bland diet. The weight fell off me. And than around 7 months I was so hungry I gained a lot back. I could eat steak and eggs for breakfast, pancakes for a snack, fajitas for lunch and ribs for supper and I'd still be like 'I'm so damn hungry'. She 2 now and the hormones have made me hang on to the weight despite eating very healthy since Jan. She's weaning now so I'm hoping it will fall off me again.

I've stayed the same the whole time. Both my mom and sister dropped weight as soon as they stopped breastfeeding so I'm hoping I'm thr same!
