re building my marriage

So me and my husband have had our ups and downs.    He struggles with addiction.   I have been there for him through the whole ordeal.   Rehabs detox centers even jail twice.   We have a 7 year old little man.   He has done awful and terrible things to me but now he is in treatment and this time seems different from all the rest.   He is actually working now.    Attending church.  And writing sermons.   We have very limited contact cause I had to get a restraining order.   But we will be starting our marriage counseling soon.     He is getting a place.   And I guess I'm just looking for input because he wants me and my son to move in with him before winter.    Now I'm asking for everyone to be nice with their answers.   Not that I should just leave him cause I made a promis to god when we married until death do us part.    What should be my next step.    Ours as a couple.
