dogs & pregnancy

does anyone feel like their dog knows you're having a baby? im starting to show (13w) and way before I even knew I was pregnant we bought our first dog when he was 5weeks old and I was pregnant at the time .. he has always layed on my lap or on my tummy and still does.. even if im sitting right next to him he has to be on my not next to me and he will choose me over my boyfriend's lap lol.. maybe he just loves me but I feel like he is protecting the baby❤
