Newborn vs 1 year old - easiest?

Question

Would it be easier to study for the rest of my degree (I have 8 months left) with a newborn for the last 4 months of the course but no work (mat leave)
Or easier to wait till baby is 1 before I finish my course, but means I'll also be back at work part time at the same time too?

You will be exhausted with a newborn so prepare for limited sleep and delirium. You will have more time to study but it will be difficult the first month or so...

With a 1 year old it would be easier to get help/a baby sitter while you do what's needed.

Keep working with the newborm, you will be glad you did. My one year old has a more predictable schedule nowadays but she is so much more work than when she was a newborn. I remember the first 3 months all she did waa sleep pretty much. She was super easy until she started crawling

My baby's 3 months old and I've been working on finishing my degree since she was a couple weeks old, it's not easy but definitely doable :) Good luck!!!
