Weaning

My LO is almost 14 months. We've been slowly weaning and he's down to two feeds a day, morning and night. Recently, I thought I had a plugged duct because it hurt so bad when he nursed I'd have tears running down my face. It wasn't getting any better and wasnt until this morning when I looked down and saw a small but very painful open sore above my nipple. I don't know if it's coming from his teeth or what but it's unbearable. My question is, could I wean him completely now since I can't pump or do I feed off one side until this other side heals?
