Baby hates my husband..?

My baby is 9 weeks old and it's mostly just been him and I since the day he was born. I breastfeed so there's not alot hubby has been able to do plus he works alot. This past week when hubby gets home from work and he goes and picks baby up baby will break out in a uncontrollable scream to the point where I have to take baby from him and calm him down. this happens every time hubby holds him and it's getting very discouraging for him :(. If my hubby doesn't pick him up, and just talks to him while he's sitting in his bouncer or something then baby smiles away at him and he's fine but as soon as hubby picks him up he loses it. why is this?? surely it can't be because he doesn't like him... can it?
