Am I being taken advantage of?

This guy that I hangout with lives 30 mins away. So he usually drives to my house and I drive us to places whenever we want to hangout. Today, he wants to hangout, but I don't have my car. He says he'll drive if I pay for food. But I told him no.

I've paid for him many times because we usually take turn paying the bills due to him insisting. Which can turn out to be unfair a lot of time because when I'm paying he orders a lot.

Anyways, I'm not selfish, I'm just a broke college student. I always feel obligated to pay for this guy sometime and it annoys me. If you have any tips to kindly say no, please tell me.
