nervous and disappointed

This is my first time having IUI done. I'm super excited that maybe just maybe it will work. But everyone else is talking about falicals and ultrasounds and pre IUI hormones. And it makes me worried cause I'm not doing any of those. I took Clomid during my cycle and had a hysterosalpingogram done and testing twice a day for my ovulation surge for over a week now. But I just feel like a chicken with my head cut off without any results. I don't have anyone to talk to about it or that understands. My husband is gone for a majority of the month for work so we have his sperm frozen and processed. I've done everything I'm supposed to be doing. But yet I'm very very discouraged.
