Adoption surprise ideas

Okay, so my husband came into mine and my daughter's life when she was just barely a year old. After we got married we've been working on him adopting her. Bio-father failed to respond to the consent of adoption - thus relenting his parental rights. Now we're just waiting on the judge to sign.

I really want to surprise him when I get notice that the judge has signed and we need to go sign the birth certificate etc. I'm not entirely sure how though, I suck at that sort of thing! So I was hoping some of you may have ideas!!
