Who has done a VBAC delivery?

I'm hoping to do VBAC with my 2nd baby coming April-ish 2018. I haven't been told an exact due date yet. I had a C-section with my son. (Long story short I had an inattentive doctor and useless nurses that made me sit FULLY DILATED for 6 HOURS before my dr even showed his face in my room for the first time. 😡😡😡 I had been in labor for 14 hrs already and they wouldn't let me push or do anything. Anyway, baby turned face up in the birth canal and got stuck on my pubic bone. 😭😭😭) My incision is pretty low and horizontal. I just don't want to get my hopes up for a VBAC if it's just going to end in another C-section. I don't even remember my son being born, they put me completely under for the procedure. I want to remember my other children being born. Is that so much to ask?!

Don't worry, I have a different OB this time around at a completely different hospital and have told her briefly what my son's delivery was like. I will never deliver at the hospital my son was born at ever again. My son is now 20 months old and I'm still upset about the whole experience, which is super sad. I don't like thinking about his delivery. 😭
