I recently got on birth control and my boyfriend and I have of course been having sex but recently we tried without the condom and I'm a little anxious, we're both each others first so no chance for stds but for some reason I'm still a little nervous

Just make sure you're taking your birth control at the exact same time, never missing one. Once you miss one it's easy to get in the habit of missing two or three and that's definitely where some problems could arise. Birth control, when taken properly is effective, but most teens need two ways to prevent pregnancy just to be extra cautious. At least learn about your body and find out what week you're fertile/ovulate and use condoms that week:) How old are you? Just be prepared IF anything would happen, that you two talk about how you would handle your consequences before they happen (ex what will you do if you do get pregnant) . Communication is key:) I applaud you for getting on birth control! When did you get on it? I've heard it takes two months for BC to regulate to your body and be as effective as intended. So before 2 months just keep in mind that your body is still getting used to the birth control. Good luck , girl😊
