Any nursing students?

I'm 19 and will be starting nursing school in February. I got accepted in August and it is my dream come true!!!

My best friend is a culinary student, a two year program, and I love her dearly.

The thing is, she always wants to study or just hangout or have me help her with her homework. I do all of this when time permits, but she gets kind of pissed off if I don't.

I am at the library and lab all day almost everyday. I love studying the human body and working on my skills in my microbiology class. It is so important that I don't fail any classes so I don't get kicked out.

Most everyone does not understand the complexity and rigorous class material that nursing students have to go through.

Instead of partying every weekend, I am making sure I do well. I still have fun. I went shopping tonight with friends and made smoothies for friends tonight, but I just can't all the time.

Any other nursing students on here that have lost friends because of nursing school?

I feel so guilty for always studying...
