Recommended birth control

I plan on going on some form of birth control next month, but I can’t really decide exactly what kind I want to use. I’m afraid the time constraint for the pills won’t work for me because I’m very forgetful. I’m also afraid of having birth control that hurts to receive in any way, as well as any kind that will make me emotional or gain weight or anything like that, so please give me some suggestions and tell me about your experiences as well, thank you!!
