Could it be malpractice?
During a trans vagina ultrasound, the NP told me that I needed to abduct my right leg more. More. And more. I could barely do it as it was impossible idk if they receive anatomy and pgy training but the thigh isn’t meant to abduct at a certain angle while in lithotomy position.
I went to sleep that night I woke up with severe right leg inner thigh pain that radiated to my back, front thighs and knee. I took Tylenol and felt better 45 min after. Then the next day I woke up around 8am with the same pain and took Tylenol again.
Is this normal? Will it go away? I can’t take Tylenol for the rest of my life. Any similar experience? And finally, did malpractice take place? My pain is so so severe and it stops me from doing anything until that 45 minute wait time for Tylenol to hit (800mg every 8 hours. So it’s not regular dose Tylenol).
**edit: I did say I couldn’t possible move my leg any further. And she touched my leg to move it a bit. So please stop blaming the victim here. Hope you’re in this position one day and everyone tells you it’s your fault. Kudos females! Kudos.
