Facial hair

I started taking metformin 4 days ago, 500mg once a day. I’m already noticing my facial hair growth has massively slowed down. I’m so pleased as this is from a low dose, it’s being increased next week. This may sound stupid but does it mean metformin should work well for me? Part of me feels like I won’t ovulate but I’m noticing a big difference with facial hair after a few days, so far so good right? How soon did others notice any benefits? Did it help to conceive later? I think it’s me just feeling negative and fed up
