My boyfriend WINS ALL BOYFRIENDS tonight

To get started, a couple weeks ago, I had torn something in my knee (don’t know, I am not on any insurance currently). But it was bad. It was just starting to get to the point of being fully operational again. Sometimes it would wobble and want to give out.

Well! Bad news: I slipped getting into my truck to get our daughter out to go inside. 10x worse pain!! I immediately buckled to the ground, groaning in pain. We are so lucky that his window where he sleeps was directly above where we parked (I have been parking in the back due to an increase in thefts).

So I’m laying in the snow, not crying but making a groan that resembles what I think a mating bull would sound like. I can only imagine what my daughter is thinking at this point. Blank stare, still strapped in, looking out the open door, wondering where the fuck mommy went.

I yelled his name in my groaning voice until he poked his head under the shade. By this time, he was only asleep for a few hours before his shift later tonight. He came running out in some pajama pants he just threw on and helped me up off of the cold ground. I groaned the whole way up as pain shoots through my leg. My poor man.

He grabs our daughter without slipping haha and my gigantic diaper bag and helps me hop through the snow until I got to point I can hop myself to the stairs. He goes inside to put out daughter down. When he comes out, I’m standing on one leg at the bottom of these stairs of death wondering how the fuck I’m supposed to get to the top. I sat down and tried to just scoot my ass up step by step but apparently doing that uses too much of my injured leg.

This is where he wins today.

I am NOT in shape. We just started going to the gym last month and although I’m down 10lbs., I am 235 lbs. My man picked me up! He carried my up the stairs ! Obviously the gym has been treating those masculine arms well. I was so impressed, all I wanted to do was kiss him. I felt like a princess!

He set me down at the top and I gave him a nice smooch on the cheek. 😘 He made sure I was comfortable and after having him light up our minitree (cause that matters), I sent him off to get his last few hours of sleep.
