Husband crushed by 29,000lb machine πŸ˜«πŸ˜°πŸ€•πŸšœ

Guys, I just need to vent! On Jul 31st my hubby and I miscarried our first baby. It was awful! We were finally starting to pick up the pieces when we were hit with another TRAGEDY!

On Aug 16 at 12:16pm I received a phone call that changed my entire life. I was sitting having lunch with my nephews when my phone rang and it was my husband calling, I answered only to hear someone else's voice on the other end. I guess here is where I should also through in that I'm an EMT, anyway, I answered my phone to a strange mans voice. The voice then said is this so and so's wife, I said yes, and he goes "we need you, your husband has been crushed." At which point my pager started to go off. I replied "what do you mean" to which he sneered "your husband has been crushed, do you know where we are? We need you now". Literally guys I don't even know what happened, it all feels like a dream, I told him yes I do and I'm coming. I jumped up from the table, yelled to my friend who was there that my husband was crushed and I was leaving the boys and then ran out to my car. As soon as I was in my car I called my mom, who is also a medic, she answered and said are you coming to the garage I said no mom it was my husband, to which she says oh shit I will be there. I then called my nephews mom and told her what happened and that she needed to go and get them from the restaurant. I don't even remember the drive out there, my eyes went like black and my hands were shaking and my arms were numb. I just started creaming no god please don't take him, please don't take him from me! What about our life, what about us having a baby? Please god no! I got out there before the ambulance and ran up to him, he was laying on the ground in agony. He had been run over by a 29.000 lb front loader. I just started doing everything I was trained and trying to keep him calm, the ambulance for there and we loaded him in. We knew his lung was punctured and not working on the right side, his arm was turning purple, and his head and eyes were bruising right in front of me. But he could move, talk, and he knew who I was and what had happened. I had to help him breathe, my partner did a cheat decompression and stuck needles into his chest trying to get his lung to reinflate. The helicopter took what felt like hours, once they arrived they cut a hole in his chest and shoved a tune in for the blood to drain from. They loaded him in the helicopter and took him from me, and I immediately headed towards the hospital. Once I got there he was so bruised and swollen but the Dr's all said it was a miracle. His lung was mashed and badly injured, but his arms had only nerve and tissue damage, all of his robs on his right side were crushed, he broke two bones in his neck, but nothing was bad enough he would need surgery. We've had a long road recovering since. He is now finally starting to get back to what he once was. We have now started trying again for our baby, but his employer had no insurance, or any coverage, so so far we have $110,000 in medical bills. His employer is trying to weasel his way out of taking care of them, even though he was the one who ran him over! I've been talking to a lawyer, and I finally told his boss that, so now he is trying to guilt me into making payment plans and what not with him. My husband has been forever changed, he will NEVER be 100% ok again. Not to mention the emotional toll it's had on him. What do you guys think I should do? Should I sue this guy? Or give him a chance? 😞 I'm seriously losing sleep over this.

Sorry for such a long story! And I'll throw in some pictures just for to prove the damage extent.
